Learning and good nutrition does not end when school lets out for the summer.
The USDA Summer Food Service Program helps to provide nutritious meals to children in low income areas so they are better fueled with healthy foods to learn and grow.
The program will take place starting June 4th at the Greenfield Elementary Cafetorium. There are no income requirements and any child under the age of 18 may come to eat. Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until July 27th.
The service is held in conjunction with Highland County Community Action. Find more information by calling 937-393-3458.
