Judith Ann Robb Stoops, 71, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Her husband, James W. Stoops, survives. They were married August 16, 1980. Mrs. Stoops was born January 2, 1947 in Sligo, Clinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late George H. and Amy E. Tucker Robb. She was a 1965 graduate of Clinton Massie High School.
Mrs. Stoops retired from Cape May. She had also worked at American Tool and AVI Foods. She was a member of the Quaker Society of Friends.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stoops is survived by a son, Richard R. (Gail LaFong) Davis of Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Davis of Wilmington, Ohio; two brothers, Kilby “Hugh” (Jane) Robb of Tampa, FL and George “Lee” (Sue) Robb of Hillsboro, Ohio; her twin sister, Joyce L. (Herman) Schaeffer of Midland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Jerrod Davis, Dylan “Berry” Davis, Logan Davis, Riley Davis, Alexis Davis, Patrick Long, and Andrew (Mariah) Long; her great grandchildren, Lacey Long and Liam Clay-Long; her other grandchildren, Denver Younker and Brittany Wright; her other great-grandchildren, Bentley Clay, Adalynn Clay, and Annabelle Turner; and her beloved pet, Kuda. In addition to her parents, she was met in Heaven by her brothers, Abner “Skip” Robb, John Robb, and Robert Keller, and a sister, Mary McDowell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Nancy McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Clinton County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
