Robert W. Pritchet

Robert W. Pritchet, 91, of Xenia, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton.  Born on May 27, 1926, in Sabina, he was the son of Clarence and Edith Rockhold Pritchet.

Robert was a retiree of  Wright Patterson and was engaged in civil service.  He served in the US Army and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.  He was a drummer and loved music, especially gospel and jazz and was given the CB nickname of “Drumsticks”.  He played for his church, the Church of God, and frequently traveled to play for various other groups.  Robert was an avid fisherman and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Surviving are his children: Robyn (Harold) Quarles of Xenia, Steven (Carmen) Pritchet of Canal Winchester, and Cynthia Williams of Brandon, FL; six grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Guy Pritchet and siblings, Charles and Dale Pritchet and Maryetta Buford.  Robert was the last of his family.

Friends may call on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 10 am to noon at the Church of God in Xenia with funeral service and luncheon to follow.  Burial will take place at the Sabina Cemetery, Sabina. 

 Arrangements are under the care of Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.
