Matthew Wayne Stiffler

MATTHEW WAYNE STIFFLER, age 31, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at his home.

He was born on July 21, 1986 in Fayette County to Rob Stiffler and Twana Camp. He was a 2005 graduate of Washington Senior High School and had also attended The Ohio State University, where he majored in broadcasting. Matthew has worked since the age of thirteen with his family at Showplace Furniture Gallery in Washington CH. He had also interned for both local radio stations, Buckeye Country 105.5 and Lite 97.5 WVNU. Matthew could best be described as an “old soul”. He enjoyed history, playing video games, and was an avid Oakland Raiders fan.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Margery Mae Stiffler, and Leroy and Cleo Arnold.

Survivors include his parents, Rob (Christina) Stiffler, and Twana (Jim) Camp; siblings, Jessica (Ryan) Hughes, Amber Stiffler, Bradley Stiffler, Teara Camp, and Lexi Stiffler; grandparents, Gloria Robinette and Gary (Debbie) Puckett; aunts and uncles, Spencer (Sandy) Arnold, Gary (Vicki) Arnold, and Twila Leisure; special friends, Kyle Bobst, Scott Springer, Marcus Harris, and Jamie Maston; and his beloved canine companion, Daisy Mae. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church with Joy Stanforth officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday evening from 4-8:00 p.m.
