Serpent Mound's "Archaeology Day" is 10am to 4pm August 19th. It includes artifact displays...and demonstrations of ancient drilling and fire-making methods, flint knapping, atlatl use, and pottery-making.
There will be living history "first contact" re-enactors in colonial garb, and Indian games and face painting. You can also bring artifacts for identification.
Renowned archaeologist Brad Lepper will give a presentation at 1pm, and local Serpent Mound authority Jeffry Wilson will speak at 3pm.
