Debbie M. Voorhees

Debbie M. Voorhees, 60 of Wilmington, Ohio died 6:38 AM, Friday, August 4, 2017 at Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born January 14, 1957, in Wilmington, Ohio, a daughter of the late Orville and Amy Lu Pugsley Fields.  Debbie, a 1975 graduate of Wilmington High School, was a member of the Martinsville United Methodist Church, attended Latter Day Saints, and was a Home Health Care Aide for 19 ½ years.

Survivors include her husband James J. Voorhees, whom she married April 3, 1993; sisters Phyllis (Tim) Baldwin of Springfield, Ohio, Denise (Bobby) Drake of Hillsboro, Ohio, Laura (Rocky) Jones of Lynchburg, Ohio, Rachel (Jeff) Holmes of Hamilton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephew.

Besides her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by an infant brother who died at birth and her brother, Irwin Eugene Fields.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South St, Wilmington, Ohio.  Burial will be in Martinsville I.O.O.F Cemetery.  Friends may call from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be Tim Baldwin, Rocky Jones, David Jones, Robert Drake, Robert Voorhees, Mark Voorhees and Steve Voorhees.
