Ray Burns

Ray Burns, 58, of Sabina passed away at home July 25, 2017.

He was born November 11, 1958 to Wendell  Burns and Imagene Hilderbrant Paugh.

Ray is survived by his wife Glenna (Gunter) Burns.Ray was a graduate of Wilmington High School and worked for R&L Trucking as a dock supervisor.  He was a member of VFW 6710, enjoyed fishing, playing pool, playing guitar, listening to gospel music and was the Bengals #1 fan.

Also left to cherish is memory are children: Jason (Darci) Kisley of Sabina, Billy (Melanie) Burns of Hillsboro, Starr Hall of Sabina, Jesse Knisley of Blanchester; grandchildren: Dalton, Mylon, Jaden, Morgan, Tristan, Bryson, Colton Ray, Brandon and Kenny.   Also surviving are siblings Robert Burns, Wendy (Gary) Smith, Kelly (John Davis) Burns, Casey (Buddy) Music, Tonya (Neil) South, and Ginny (Mark) Thompson;  several  nieces and nephews; cousins: Kim (Lance) Spurlock and Jeannie (Lou )Longstrength;  aunts: Sharon Taylor and Kate Shattuck; and special friend Greg Wiggens.

Ray is preceded in death by his father Wendell Burns, step-father Art Paugh, and brothers, Max and Wayne Burns.

Family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on Saturday July 29th, when a funeral service will begin at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. 

 Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
