Margaret Marie Cutlip

Margaret Marie Cutlip, 91, of Frankfort, joined her Lord and all his angels on Tuesday evening, July 25, 2017, at The Vineyards at Concord. She was born in Gnaddenhutten, Ohio on August 8, 1925, the daughter of the late Frazer A. “Jack and Anola Carpenter Ward. On July 7, 1944 she married Dr. Ernest B. Cutlip who preceded her in death on July 6, 1994.

 

She is survived by one daughter; Judy (John) Adams of Frankfort, two grandchildren; Lori Beth and Katie Sue, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son; Jeff Cutlip, three grandchildren; Christopher Lee Peck, Dustin Jeffrey Cutlip and Heidi Marie Campbell and one brother, Fred Ward..

 

Marie was a 1943 graduate of Gnaddenhutten High School, Following graduation, she worked at Berger Aircraft of Canton. She was employed by Nationwide Insurance of Columbus for eight years before her and Dr. Cutlip moved to Frankfort. She then worked with Dr Cutlip in his office doing the office work and all the other chores that needed to be done.

 

She was an original member of the Ross County Senior Citizens Bowling League, a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. She and Dr. Cutlip were avid Ohio State Buckeye fans and loved spending Saturday afternoons in The Horse Shoe. Marie loved to play Bridge with her many friends and she enjoyed her 9:00 coffee table at the Frankfort Corner Restaurant. As one can see, Marie’s main goal in life was to always be busy.

 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Neil Foster officiating.  Marie will be laid to rest beside her husband in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends can visit with Maria’s family on Friday from 11 a.m. to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be sent to the Central Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimers Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus OH 43215 of the charity of your choice.
