Ted Pierson

Ted Pierson, 69, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Tuesday, July 18, 2017, in Columbus.  His death was sudden and unexpected.

Ted was born November 30, 1947, in Washington Court House to Archie Wayne and Virginia Cartwright Pierson.  He was a 1967 graduate of Washington High School and lived most of his life in Washington Court House.

He had been a heavy equipment operator for Crop Production Services for the past 46 years.

Ted served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Belmont during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Archie W. Pierson, Jr. and a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and David MacLaine.

Ted is survived by his wife, the former Lynn Bowdle whom he married August 25, 1978; a sister and brother-in-law, Candace and Calvin Sergent of Port Clinton, Ohio; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lowell and Shannon Bowdle of Dublin, Ohio; a nephew, Jason MacLaine of Washington Court House; a niece, Tami (Dean) Tschannen of Wadsworth, Ohio and a great niece and great nephew, Kassidy and Kamron Carter.

The funeral will be Monday, July 24, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Chris Conley, minister at the Harvest Life Assembly of  God, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
