Virginia J. Rulon

Virginia J. Rulon, 92, of Milford, Ohio (formerly of Wilmington) passed away June 22, 2017 at Venetian Gardens near Loveland, Ohio.  Her husband, Paul E. Rulon, preceded her in death July 3, 2000.  They were married September 14, 1946.  Mrs. Rulon was born May 22, 1925 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late James and Marie Bowman Wayland.  She was a 1943 graduate of New Vienna High School.

Mrs. Rulon began her career as a secretary at Wright Paterson AFB.  She eventually retired from the Clinton County Farm Bureau.  She was a member of the Milford Christian Church and various bridge clubs.  She was a past member and Worthy Matron of the New Vienna Order of the Eastern Star.  Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Rulon is survived by a daughter, Paulette Waag of Milford, Ohio; a son, Gordon Rulon of Centennial, Colorado; a granddaughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Skinner of Elmhurst, Illinois; two great grandchildren, Colton Skinner and Addye Skinner; as well as her nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, a sister, Wanda Kende, is preceded in death.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 27, 2016 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
