Donald "Don" E. Beatty, 62 of London, died Monday, May 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 11, 1954 in Fayette County, Ohio. Son of the late Paul and Ellen (Woods) Beatty.
Don was retired from the US Postal Service at the London Post Office where he worked for 20 years; Assistant Softball Coach for Madison Plains High School for 13 years; coached boys football for 17 years.
Even though he never had children of his own, he loved all the children he worked with in football and girls softball.
He is survived by his loving family; sisters Betty Gnann, Wilma (Paul) Wilson; brothers Ken (Betty Jo) Beatty, Gary Beatty, and Jim (Mary) Beatty; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Mike Hodge officiating with the interment following in Madison Mills Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
