Stella E Greene, 87 years, of Hillsboro passed away in Kettering, OH on Sunday April 9, 2017.
She was born in Carter County, Kentucky on December 12, 1927 the daughter of the late Millard & Allie (Conn) Caudill. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands Pete Porter in September of 1976 and Thurman Greene on July 14, 1996; as well as, son Ronnie Porter, step-son Jerry Greene, seven brothers and sisters and one granddaughter.
Stella was a long time member of the Hillsboro Senor Citizens and the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Al (Phyllis) Porter of Peebles, Mark (Mary) Porter of San Antonio, TX; step-son Richard (Marjorie) Green of Hillsboro; daughters Ramona (Bill) Davidson of Miamisburg, OH and Kathy (Mike) Martin of Hebron, KY; daughter-in-laws, Nadine Porter of Peebles and Beverly Greene of Hillsboro; ten grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 13, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church, with a burial to follow at 3:00 PM at the Locust Grove cemetery.
Friends and Family may call on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the Church.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church in memory of Stella.
