Ruth E. Hammons-Gonzalez, 56 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday March 19, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Dayton.
She was born in Baltimore, MD on January 7, 1961, the daughter of the late Margaret (Faux) and Clinton Hammons. Besides her mother, she is also preceded by her aunt, Emiline Peterson.
Ruth served in the United States Army.
Besides her father, Ruth is survived by her two sons, Jim Hammons of Hillsboro and Alex Gonzalez of Hillsboro, daughter, Victoria Gonzalez of Hillsboro, three brothers, James Hammons of New Carlisle, William Hammons of Oklahoma City and Alvin Hammons of Conway, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
On behalf of Ruth’s wishes, she is to be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
