Anthony Ray “Tony” Bender, 55 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday March 19, 2017, in Seaman.
He was born in Georgetown, OH on November 10, 1961 the son of Elizabeth Eunice Planck. Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his step-father Paul Eugene Grisham of Hillsboro, one Sister Crystal Alexander, and one brother Mike Bender.
Tony is survived by one daughter Brandy Bender of Hillsboro, two brothers Steven (Patty) Bender of Mowrystown and David Grisham of Sardinia, sister Penny Waits of Wilmington, and two grandchildren Hailey Snyder and Hayden Bender.
He was a member of F.O.E Aerie #1161 in Hillsboro.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday March 24, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with a burial to follow at Fincastle Cemetery.
