Burnett Dudley “Dud” Lucas, 92 years of Winchester passed away on Thursday February 9, 2017 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.
He was born in Centerville, OH on December 30, 1924, the son of the late Burnett and Sarah (Urschel) Lucas. Besides his parents he is also preceded by three sisters, Dora Jane Moyer, Alma Johnson and Helen Schubert.
Burnett served in the United States Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion #633.
Burnett is survived by his wife, Shirley Lucas, whom were married on May 6, 1949, four sons, Bernie (Becky) Lucas of Centerville, Phillip (Nancy) Lucas of Winchester, Daniel (Becky) Lucas of Winchester and Terry (Lisa) Lucas of Leesburg, daughter, Cindy (Bill England) Lucas of Winchester, nineteen grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
On behalf of Dud’s wishes, he is to be cremated and burial will be at a later date.
