Elle King is a mother of two!
The singer-songwriter and her partner, Dan Tooker, have welcomed Baby No. 2. King introduced her newborn son, Royal Tooker, to the world in a heartwarming Instagram post on Friday (February 28). She said as she shared the first photo with her newborn baby: “Our family just got a little bit brighter. Welcome to the world Royal Tooker 💙”
King clarified earlier this month that she’s “still pregnant,” after a photo on her Instagram story apparently prompted incoming messages about the baby. King said at that time that she’s “still pregnant,” but Baby No. 2 would arrive “soon.” She said the evening before Valentine’s Day, “I hope everyone feels love today, tomorrow, and every day.”
King, 35, announced in September that she was pregnant with her second child. She shared a video on Instagram to announce that Baby No. 2 would be another boy, joining big brother Lucky Levi Tooker, 3. King said when Lucky Levi was born in 2021 that “we are all healthy and feeling so blessed! Welcome to the world Lucky!”
King announced her pregnancy after she shared that she had reconciled with Tooker after parting ways for a period of time. King and Tooker started dating in 2019. They got engaged in 2020. During her Stagecoach performance in 2023, King wore a brightly-colored jacket with the word “single” on the back. Days before announcing her pregnancy with Baby No. 2, King confirmed that she and Tooker were back together and bought a home together in Nashville, Tennessee.
“(Lucky Levi has) definitely brought me and his dad back together just because, what are we doing?" King told PEOPLE at the time. "We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here. Let's put our weapons down. Come on. This is it. This is life. It doesn't get better than this. This is worth trying. This is worth wiping a slate clean. This is worth all the effort in the world. My family, this is what deserves all the energy and effort. …It's happy, it's beautiful. I'm very happy, I'm very content, which is nice, and I don't know if I've ever really felt that, so it's a blessing.”
