Billy Ray Cyrus and his fiancée, fellow singer-songwriter FIREROSE, appeared on Good Morning America on Thursday (August 31) to deliver a stunning performance of their romantic duet, “Plans.” The engaged couple also talked about recording music together and wedding plans as they took the stage with a few musicians from the New York Youth Symphony.

Cyrus and FIREROSE teamed up on the Diane Warren-written ballad, which FIREROSE — shimmering in a red jumpsuit accented with long fringes — said was a “dream come true.” FIREROSE said Warren DM’d her about recording a song, and when it was “Plans,” FIREROSE said the duet was “meant to be.” Now, the single’s artwork features the engaged couple with a glimpse of the stunning engagement ring.

“It has been a beautiful whirlwind,” FIREROSE said when asked about becoming a part of Cyrus’ world following their engagement last year. “I’m just so grateful that I get to live my dreams every day with the love of my life.”

Cyrus, 61, and FIREROSE, 34, confirmed their engagement last year, following speculation after posting photos on Instagram featuring the engagement ring. They later shared more details about the engagement, including the story behind the ring that sparked engagement rumors. The pair met in the early 2000s on the set of Hannah Montana, the beloved sitcom that starred Cyrus alongside his daughter, Miley Cyrus, who played a teen living a double life as a famous pop star.

Cyrus and FIREROSE recently made their red carpet debut at the ACM Honors, hosted at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
