Congratulations to Jennifer Wayne!
The Runaway June artist welcomed her first child on Monday (April 18). Wayne, 40, and her husband Austin Moody, 30, are proud parents to Lily Maria Moody. She shared the news on Instagram on Friday (April 22), captioning a sweet photo with Lily: “Welcome to the world Lily Maria Moody. 4-18-22. We love you so so much. 💕💕💕” Wayne gushed in her story “I'm a mommy,” and shared on Runaway June's account that while her bandmates “have been holding up the music front, I’ve been busy becoming a mommy!!! We have a brand new June bug.”
Wayne announced her pregnancy and her daughter’s name in November, when she confirmed to to E! News and shared a picture on Instagram noting that Lily was expected to make her arrival in April 2022. Wayne wrote in the caption: “OH BABY!!!! @theaustinmoody and I are bringing the pups home a little girl!!! We can’t wait to welcome Lily Maria Moody to our little family!!!!”
Wayne has shared heartwarming photos during her pregnancy, including with Runaway June bandmates Natalie Stovall and newcomer Stevie Woodward. Wayne said the photo showed “Lily and her aunties… We are impatiently waiting for you!” On her birthday on April 1, Wayne gushed “Grateful for another trip around the sun… ended my 30’s creating a human for the last 8 1/2 months. I think that’s a pretty good way to go out! :) I’m ready to meet you Lily girl! You’ll be another April Aries like your mama.” More stunning photos showed Wayne in a flowing dress on the beach with the family (fur baby and all).
Wayne tied the knot with her singer-songwriter husband on January 9, 2021. They got married during a small ceremony in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The couple’s engagement lasted less than two weeks. See the adorable photo of Wayne with Lily here:
