The Fayette County Sheriff will remain incumbent Vernon Stanforth. In the county’s lone local contested candidate race, he carried 71.9% of the vote over challenger Leonard Sines.
In local issues, the New Holland Police levy failed with losses in both Fayette and Pickaway counties. Milledgeville’s renewal levy passed, as did Green Township fire levy, Jefferson Township zoning, Madison Township fire renewal and Fayette Ambulance and EMS renewal levies.

There were no contested candidate races in Highland County. The renewal levy for Highland County Board of Health passed, but the Penn Township levy failed.
