The rough season for Washington CH Blue Lions basketball came to a close Monday as they fell to the McClakin Tigers 59-25 in the Boys Division 2 Sectional Quarterfinals at Southeastern High School.

McClain led throughout the contest and had the continuous clock activated in the fourth quarter as they held a 35 point lead.

Preston Saunders led the Tigers with 17 points with Beyson Badgley adding 16. The Blue Lions top two scorers were Karson Runk with 8 points and Tanner Lemaster with 7. Calum Brown added 6.

McClain shot 21/47- including 6/14 from the arc for 45% and added 11/16 at the foul line. WCH was 10/37- including 1/11 from the arc for 27% and added 4/8 from the foul line. Both teams had 10 turnovers.

The Tigers now advance to face Jackson in the sectional semis, Wednesday at Southeastern High School.
