Sixty-year-old Marvin Napier's family says he had a warrant out for his arrest, but they never thought deputies trying to arrest him would lead to his death.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release that says deputies tried to arrest Napier, but he took off running. Deputies apprehended him and placed him under arrest. Napier stopped breathing shortly after being taken into custody. Deputies performed CPR until medics got there, but they could not save him.
