On Saturday, September 14, 2019, the Highland County Veterans Services will host a one-time, ‘Silent Watch’ display, advocating for Veteran Suicide Awareness / Prevention and we are seeking other resources and organizations to participate alongside of us for this cause. The Silent Watch event on September 14th is being held at the Highland County Court House in uptown Hillsboro and will begin at 9:00am and close at 3:00pm. Our main goals for this event consist of covering the following: - 36 Silent Watch Volunteers (2 each for 20-minute guards); - Licensed/Certified Counselors on site as available; - Suicide Prevention/Mental Health professionals on site as available; - Bringing a continued public awareness that we can all #BeThere
