Washington Court House City Council met Wednesday eveing where they heard a report that the Splash Pad is coming along and the Washington Avenue project seems to be on schedule.

Council voted on a number of resolutions pertaining to the waste water treatment plant. That project will begin soon and has been in the works for quite some time.

City Manager Joe Denen was presented a plaque at Washington City Council Wednesday, that included the original keys to the old city building. A local attorney in town for over 50 years, came to posses the keys from an employee who worked for the city for 34 years.

Council will meet again on August 28th 7:30pm in council chambers.
