"Please join us at Rose Ave Community Center Friday, July 19 as we welcome the Southern Gospel music group, The Helmsmen Quartet of Ohio, to the stage at 7:00 P.M. Having their God-led beginnings in 1969 in Illinois, The Helmsmen Quartet has been ministering God's Word through traditional Southern Gospel Music from Maine to Illinois and Michigan to Pennsylvania, as well as regionally in Ohio, for several decades. Recording 18 albums over the years, The Helmsmen Quartet has ministered with other well-known Gospel groups such as The Oaks Ridge Boys and the Kingdom Heirs, touching the lives of thousands of people in Jesus’ name! Currently from Mt. Vernon, Ohio, the group consists of Gary Morgan, tenor, Paul Russel, lead, Ken Eash, baritone & manager, and Robert Small, bass, and together they have seen many people saved by the power of God’s Holy Spirit, and many more encouraged to deepen & continue their Christian faith. Through personnel changes over the years, The Helmsmen Quartet of Ohio has never lost their zest for the ministry, and their deep desire to see souls saved for the Kingdom & to glorify the name of Jesus Christ! Using familiar “old-time” Southern Gospel songs & hymns, The Helmsmen Quartet lead a worship service rich in professionalism & exultations to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! Gospel Music Family Fridays is an outreach of Rose Ave Community Center & Church presented every Friday at 7:00 P.M., doors open at 6:30 P.M. Bringing different local, regional and national singers, song writers, musical groups and recording artists to the stage each week, all for the glory of God, we offer free admission, free food & drinks, and free shuttle service, in town. To help support this ministry, a free-will offering will be received. Rose Ave Community Center is located at 412 Rose Ave., in WCH. For transportation please call the office at 740-636-ROSE(7673) before 5:00 P.M. Fridays.Join us every Saturday at 5:00 P.M. for a free community meal & contemporary worship service in a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Featuring an upbeat & relevant, Bible-based message from Pastor Justin, doors open at 4:30 PM. Free transportation is also available for this event by calling the office before 3:00 P.M. Saturdays. Regular office hours are Monday-Friday 2:00-5:00 P.M.
