S.R. 348 in Adams County has been closed between its junction with S.R. 125 and C.R. 5 (Compton Hill Road) due to flooding.
In addition, S.R. 73 remains closed between C.R. 18 (Jaybird Road) and the Adams-Scioto County line due to flooding, and S.R. 73 is also closed at Rarden in Scioto County
Elsewhere in ODOT District 9, closures are in effect at the following locations:
S.R. 124 at S.R. 772 and Idaho in Pike County;
S.R. 220 at C.R. 51 (River Road), two miles south of Waverly, in Pike County;
S.R. 327 at Byer, between T.R. 205 (Doles Road) and T.R. 804 (Ray Cemetery Road) in Jackson County.
Although the duration of closure for these routes is unknown, it is anticipated that the routes will be closed through the remainder of the evening, and the closures are in effect until further notice.
U.S. 23 in Ross County has been reduced to one lane in the northbound direction following a mudslide, and the restriction will remain in effect through the overnight.
U.S. 23 is reduced to one lane at Divide Hill, just south of S.R. 372 and the entrance to the Scioto Trail State Park, where mud and trees have fallen from the hillside onto the travel lane and shoulder of the route.
Although crews will continue working until dark to clear as much of the roadway as possible, the restriction will remain in effect through the overnight, and crews will resume operations tomorrow, February 7.
U.S. 23 North will be reduced to one lane between T.R. 199A (George Hollow Road) and S.R. 372 with barrels, and although the southbound lanes should not be affected by this restriction, motorists in both directions are urged to use additional caution through the area.
State Route 752 in Pickaway County is closed between US 23 and the community of Ashville. North Court Street in Circleville is closed at the railroad trestle. Island Road also closed at the railroad trestle.
