Miami Trace ran their record to (2-1) in a 22-9 win at Logan Elm, Friday.
The Panthers built a 16-0 advantage, but saw the Braves cut that margin to 16-9 in the closing minute of the third quarter. But, Jayden LeBeau got a pick-six to make it 22-9.
Logan Elm won the battle of the stats, despite losing the game. The Braves racked-up 319 total yards compared to 185 for the Panthers. Two turnovers though helped make the difference.
The Panthers travel to Clinton-Massie next week, with the Falcons come off a 21-18 win over Middletown Fenwick on Friday night..
