Washington Court House Police have made two arrests following a high speed chase involving a vehicle stolen from Madison County. While attempting to make a routine traffic stop on South Fayette Street just after noon Tuesday, the vehicle fled the scene with police giving chase.
During the pursuit, the vehicle went through numerous yards and fields and also deliberately rammed a cruiser in an effort to get away. The vehicle eventually became disabled in a field off Rowe-Ging Road, with the occupants of the vehicle fleeing on foot.
Both were apprehended and arrested.21-year-old Tyler J. Stone was charged with receiving stolen property, failure to comply and felonious assault. Katherine Jo Ross was charged with obstructing official business.
