Happy Monday. Do you have the post-vacation blues? You’re not alone. A new survey found that 25 percent of American workers say the positive effects of vacation time -- like feeling less stressed and having more energy -- disappear as soon as they go back to work. And according to The American Psychological Association’s 2018 Work and Well-Being survey, 40 percent of respondents say the benefits of vacation only last a few days.
And then there are those who say the vacation itself isn’t even relaxing ... 21 percent of respondents said they feel stressed while on vacation, 28 percent said they wound up working more on vacation than they planned to, and 42 percent said they dreading going back to work. (Moneyish)
