The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program begins on Monday, July 2nd. It provides help to eligible Ohioans with cooling assistance during the summer months. The program runs from July 2nd to August 31st.
Highand Community Action also has other options available for those not eligible for the HEAP program. Christi Hauke says Community Action can also help with enrollment into the Percentage of Income Payment Plan, or PIPP. That program helps eligible Ohioans manage their energy bills year round.
