The City of Washington Court House Water Department will be starting their spring Flushing of fire hydrants on Monday, April 2, 2018. They will start in the North end of town on Peabody and continuing until completed.
Hydrant flushing is done yearly to improve water quality and to keep fire hydrants in good working condition. You may notice some discoloration in your water during this time, which is a temporary condition. The Water Department suggests turning faucets on and allowing water to run clear.
