Margaret Jean Miller, 94, of Wilmington passed away January 29, 2018 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville. She was born June 24, 1923 in Niles, Ohio, daughter of the late Leroy and Margaret Minnick. She married Richard W. Miller November 10, 1944. Her husband passed away in 1992.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her four children, Mrs. Jean Ann (Rich) Parrish of San Jose, CA, Richard L. (Corrine) Miller of Gettysburg, PA; Mrs. Barbara S. (Dave) Davis of Westerville, OH, and William E. (Gayle) Miller of Wilmington, OH; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Jean was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing bridge, and enjoyed the Red Hat Society luncheons and dinners. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wilmington. She worked in the alumni office at Wilmington College, retiring from there in 1995.
Friends will be received from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, February 2, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clinton County Memory Gardens.
