Harold W. Stevenson, 86, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died January 29, 2018 in Circleville. He was born January 27, 1932 in Warren, Ohio. Harold was a brick mason, served in the US Air Force, member of American Legion Post #25, Washington Court House, and member of the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene.
Preceded in death by his parents, William Stevenson and Anna Mary (Strudthoff) Stevenson; sister, Mary Jane Stevenson; and wife, Phyllis Stevenson.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Terri Stevenson, Pamela Dean, Cynthia Stevenson, and Lori (Greg) Miller; step-children Jennifer (Delbert) Hill, Angie Combs, Terry (Jeri) Evans, Tim Barnett; sister, Ruth Stevenson; numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Joe Proudfoot and Rev. Dortha Ross officiating. At the close of the service military honors will be given with the presentation of the American flag and taps being played. Family will receive friends from 11:00 - 1:00. Harold's final resting place will be in Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions to Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, 226 N. Market Street, Mt. Sterling, OH., 43143.
