Lori Leann Shiltz

Lori Leann Shiltz, 42, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 11:23 p.m. at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus where she had been a patient since January 3.  She had been ill the past year.

Lori was born July 12, 1975, in Circleville to Larry Lee and Ronda Jean Dickey Shiltz.  She was a 1993 graduate of Miami Trace High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Central State University.  She lived most of her life in this community.

She was preceded in death by her father on April 29, 2012; by a brother, L. J. Shiltz, Jr. in 1980, and three nephews, Kenyon, Broderick and Braylon Harris.

Lori is survived by two children, Ellison Karina Darif and Alexander Julian Darif; her mother, Ronda Dickey; a sister Traci Harris and her husband, Ricardo, all of Washington Court House; grandmothers, Opal Shiltz of Washington Court House, Susan Beckley and Sharon Dickey, both of Circleville; the father of her children, Larry Darif; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and her fur baby, Benjamin Blue.

The funeral will be Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor John Pfeiffer, minister at the Gathering Place Church, officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Holland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
