Richard W. Ockerman, age 81, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.
He was born October 6, 1936 in Hillsboro, OH, son of the late Denzil Elwood Ockerman and Frances Wright Stanforth Ockerman.
He was retired from the Bob Evans meat processing plant in Xenia after 25 years of service.
Surviving are four children, Debbie Welsh of Cincinnati,Vicki (Rick) Nuchols of Williamsburg, Doug (Stephanie) Goddard of Cincinnati, Denny (Betty) Ockerman of Wilmington, 5 grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren.
in addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Micky "Alice" Ockerman, who died Nov. 28, 2013, and his Brother, David E. Ockerman.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Nancy McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens.
