John Irvin Rhude, 69, of Washington Court House, formerly of Hillsboro, died Sunday, December 31, 2017, at 2:31 a.m. at Court House Manor where he had been residing since 2016.
John was born July 3, 1948, at Mariemont in Hamilton County, Ohio to Joseph and June Baker Rhude. He had lived in Greenville SC from 2009-2015 but lived most of his life in Hillsboro until moving to Washington Court House.
Before his retirement in 2009, he had been a senior buyer for Ferno, Inc. in Wilmington, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father.
John is survived by three children, Natalie Curtis and her husband, Craig, of Sabina, Lindsey Rhude of Hillsboro and Ashley Rhude and his wife, Jordan, of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Calen and Chase Curtis and Brooklyn Williams; his mother, June Rhude of Greenville, SC and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Vicki Rhude of Hillsboro, Jay and Donna Rhude of South Carolina and Jody and Lisa Rhude of Atlanta, GA.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Payton officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
There will be no visitation.
