David Lee Streber, age 67, of Hillsboro, Ohio, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at home. Although no longer here in body, he will never be forgotten, he lives on in the hearts of all whom knew him. He always did things his own way and in his own time.
He was born January 24, 1950 in Hillsboro, OH, son of the late Rebert Mason and Anna May Payne Streber.
David was an United States Army National Guard Veteran.
Surviving are daughter, Cathy (Scott) McDonald of Beach City, OH, grandchildren, Richard Liebhart, Brittany (David) Mathias, Breanna Liebhart, Megan McDonald, and Kimberly McDonald, great-granddaughter Savannah, sister, Martha (Clifford) Jones, Cathy's Mother, Reba Streber, and Companion, Vicky Ward (her children and grandchildren)
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by three brothers, Donnie, James, and Dan Streber, sister, Ethel Streber, and a niece Angie.
Memorial Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 6:00 pm. The Highland County Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
