Janis Dee Holland,
age 86, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, December 18, 2017 at her daughter's home in Sabina, Ohio.
She was born November 5, 1931 in New Vienna, OH, daughter of the late Paul Ulric & Minnie Marie (Malone) Selph. On April 14, 1950, she married Donald L. Holland, who survives.
A 1949 graduate of the Lynchburg-Clay High School, Janis then went on to the Marinelo Beauty School in Cincinnati. She was a beautician for 58 years in the area from 1951 - 2009.
In addition to her husband of 67 years, other surviving family members are her son- Steven Holland of Ocala, Florida; daughters- Dee Ann (Francis) Denehy of Martinsville, OH, & Teresa Lynn (Roger) Earley of Sabina, OH; grandchildren- Zachary Ryan Denehy, Lacy Marie Earley, Chelsea Ann (Kyle) Woodruff; 4 great-grandchildren- Carrick, Cahlen, Zane, & Cohen; 2 sisters- Beverly Ann Wilkin of Lynchburg, OH, & Sandra Webb of Wilmington; and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Janis was preceded in death by her brother- Charles "Butch" Selph and brother-in-law- Larry Webb.
Funeral Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM, December 27, 2017 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, with Pastor Dave Hinman officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
