Emma Mae Gilliland, 99 of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 12, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Gilliland is survived by a son, Ronald (Gay) Gilliland of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Jeff (Elaine) Gilliland of Hillsboro, Brent (Gayle) Gilliland of Hillsboro, Angie (Ken) Ferguson of Dallas, Texas and Pat (Tara) Gilliland of Hillsboro; eight great grandchildren, Treven Ferguson of Dallas, Taylor (Cody) Scarberry of Dayton, Tye (Sabrina) Gilliland of Champaign, Ill, Chase Gilliland of Hillsboro, Brianne (Chad) Abbot of Hillsboro, Jesse Gilliland of Hillsboro, Gave Gilliland of Hillsboro and Kinsey Gilliland of Hillsboro; a step great grandson, Shane Schraw of Hillsboro; two great-great grandchildren, Marley Abbott and Finley Abbott; a step great-great grandson, Evan Gilliland of Hillsboro; a sister, Betty Morgan of Lynchburg; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services will take place at 2 p.m. with Guillermo Alvarez and Bill Pierce officiating following visitation on Saturday at the church.
Burial will follow services in the Hillsboro Cemetery
Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 at the Northside Church of Christ in Hillsboro.
