Helen Wheaton, 90 of Leesburg, Ohio passed away December 9, 2017 peacefully at her home. She was born March 9, 1927 to the late Ray and Willa Hall McCaughey in Springfield, Ohio. Helen graduated from Springfield Hospital as a registered nurse. She loved playing golf and traveling.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband E.A. “Jack” Wheaton, brothers Cecil and William McCaughey, sister Phyllis Cox and grandson Robbie Schultz.
Helen is survived by her daughters Julie(James) Kellough, Chris Schultz, Sally Wheaton, Ruth Wheaton, Cindy Wheaton, Grandchildren Amy(Chris) Dennis, Eric (Erica) Kellough, Greg(Jessica) Kellough, Eric Schultz, four great-grandchildren, Evan, Jack, Hailey, Robbie and her beloved granddog, Maddie Lu Grace. She was devoted to her family and they were her life.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at 1:30 at the Ferncliff Cemetery, 501, W McCreight Ave. Springfield, Ohio 45503, with Pastor Mike Henry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ruth Lyons Christmas Fund, Cincinnati OH or Hospice of Fayette County.
