A devoted servant to the Lord, wife, mother and grandmother Janet L. Conn, 87, entered heaven and was greeted by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 2, 2017 at Fayette Memorial Hospital. She was born February 19, 1930 to Frank and Ida Hardwood Mercer in Lucasville, Ohio. Janet leaves behind her husband of nearly 67 years, Bruce Conn.
Janet and her family are long time farmers of Fayette County. Janet served as the bookkeeper and president for Conn Farms Inc. Janet's life revolved around her family. She loved her family and would speak often of the happenings in their lives. For many years Janet and Bruce were members of a bowling team with friends from Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville, Ohio. Janet was also a member of the Fayette Bible Church in Washington C.H. and Fayette County Farm Bureau.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Gordon (Rebecca) Conn of Jeffersonville, Garry (Jennifer) Conn of Greenville S.C., Glenn (Kristen) Conn of Jeffersonville, grandchildren Nathan (fiancé Rachel McClish) Conn, Caleb (girlfriend Kelsey Meyers) Conn, Michael (Irene) Conn, Bethany (Danny) Kinzler, Tyler Conn, Ryan Conn (girlfriend Caroline Wilkins), Ethan Conn and Kyler Conn.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00am, at the Fayette Bible Church, 1315 Dayton Ave. Washington C.H., Ohio 43160 with Pastor Tony Garren and Assistant Pastor Michael Conn (Calvary Bible Church, Columbus, Ohio) officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the Church from 5-8pm Thursday, December 7, 2017.
