Holiday Bonuses On The Decline

The economy is booming. Lots of people and lots of companies are making lots of money.

But unfortunately, this holiday season, fewer companies will be sharing the wealth and handing out holiday bonuses.

Last year, just 30 percent of companies did not give year-end bonuses of any kind. This year, that number has jumped to 35 percent.

And even if you do get a bonus this year, don’t expect it to increase. Just 8 percent of companies who plan to hand out bonuses say they will give more this year than last. In 2016, that number was 18 percent. (Moneyish)
