Paul Everett Taylor, 93, of Washington Court House, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 6:20 p. m. at Court House Manor where he had been a patient since November 25.Everett was born February 26, 1924, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Clarence and Ruth Waters Taylor. He was a 1942 graduate of Washington High School and lived his entire life in Fayette County where he was a lifelong farmer.He was an 83-year member of the Grace United Methodist Church; a member of the Fayette County Farm Bureau and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.Everett is survived by his wife, the former Lenoir Day whom he married November 1, 1946; a daughter, Cheri Wireman of Winchester, KY; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Debbie Taylor of Washington Court House; three grandchildren, Kent Taylor and Jeff Taylor and his wife, Kristi, and Melissa Wireman Hounshell and her husband, Jeff; five great grandchildren, Haley, Nick and C.J. Hounshell and Emily and Eric Taylor; special nieces and nephews, Cathy Wilson of Springfield, Ohio, Jenny (Bill Bond) Day of Grove City, Patrick (Cindy) Day of Morgan Hill, CA and Sue (Kirk) Hamilton, of Grove City and his feline furbuddy, Henry.In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place.A graveside service in the Sugar Creek Methodist Cemetery with Mell Wickensimer, director of visitation at Grace United Methodist Church, will take place at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Fayette County, Inc., 222 North Oakland Avenue; the Grace United Methodist Church, 301 East Market Street or the Good Hope United Methodist Church, c/o Penny Johnson, 4652 Miami Trace Road-SW, Washington Court House, Ohio 43160.Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
