Elizabeth H. McCarty, 90 of Hillsboro passed away peacefully on November 16, 2017 at home surrounded by family.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving and devoted husband, R. Lowell McCarty of 50 years, of Hillsboro; she is also survived by and proud mother of six children, Michael (Mary Ellen) McCarty, Bob (Nancy) Everson, Betsi Brockmeier, Susan (Joe) Jandes, David (Cathy) Everson and Joanne (Jim) Hogle; a loving grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, Chris and Kevin McCarty, Stacy Everson (Josh) Pennington, Jenny everson (Eric) Binion, Kate (Steve) Brockmeier, Matt and Drew Jandes, David and Casi Everson, Ryan Dimich, Emily (Nick) Miller, Chelsea (Brian) Carman and Alex Hogle; eight great grandchildren who brought her so much joy, Ella Jandes, Joshua Jason and Hunter Pennington, Jackson and Benjamin Miller, Gunnar, Liron and Jovan Binion; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. following visitation on Saturday November 25th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be held in the Hamer Township Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday November 25, 2017 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
