Robert Barton “Bart” Moon, 62, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. His wife, Vicki Floyd Moon, whom he married September 4, 2008, survives. Mr. Moon was born June 30, 1955 in Clarksville, Ohio, son of Robert C. and Dorothy C. Champlin Moon. He was a graduate of Clinton Massie High School and attended The Ohio State University.
Mr. Moon was a professional ice skater and figure skating coach in Troy, Dayton, Cincinnati, and at the Kettering Rec. Center. He was a member of the Figure Skating Club of Cincinnati and the Wilmington Friends Meeting.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Moon is survived by a sister, Kimberly Ann Winters; his cousins, Dana Frey and Stacey Frey; nieces, Kelsey Winters and Shelby Winters; and a great niece, Brynlee Winters. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Barton Moon.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Tom Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Township Cemetery, Westboro. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
