Leonard James Shelton,
Age 72, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Sunday evening, October 29, 2017 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
He was born September 5, 1945 in Lynchburg, Ohio, son of the late Glen Nobel & Reba Eleanor (Warren) Shelton.
Leonard worked as a Dishwasher for Bob Evans and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Wilmington.
Surviving are sister- Shirley Huston, of Martinsville; brothers- Richard Shelton, of Wilmington & Stanley (Sarah) Shelton, of TX; and friend- Christine Curtis and family, of Wilmington.
In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his brothers- David Shelton, Raymond Shelton, & Don Shelton; and sister Dorothy Coonrod.
Memorial Services will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 2415 Wayne Road, Wilmington, with Brother Jackson officiating. Leonard's Graveside Interment service will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 1, in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
