Southern State Community College will host an open house event on Thursday, November 2nd to mark the opening of the school's new Agriculture Facility in Wilmington.
The open house will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Southern State's North Campus, located at 1850 Davids Drive, Wilmington.
The event will offer information about the new facility along with guided tours and light refreshments.
The new 3,648-square-foot state-of-the-art building includes a learning lab and greenhouse, allowing for an experiential learning environment.
The facility will be open for classes Spring Semester, which begins January 8th of 2018. Registration for classes will open to veterans on November 6th, to sophomores on November 13th, and to freshmen on November 14th.
