KATHY JO CLAIR CURNUTTE, age 62, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 1:58 p.m. at her home.
She was born on April 27, 1955 in Highland County to James M. and Vennessia Parks Clair. She was a 1974 graduate of Colonel White High School in Dayton. Kathy worked at home to take care of her husband and two daughters. She and her husband attended the Family Community Church in Jeffersonville. She enjoyed going to church, quilting, reading, and playing cards.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Joy Dean (Floyd) Rayburn, Mary Ann Paul, and Carolyn Jean Clair.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Eugene Curnutte, whom she married on April 9, 1983; children, Tammy (Robert) Vandale, and Mary Ann Curnutte; grandchildren, Mitchell and Desiree Vandale; and siblings, Jesse James Clair, Shirley May (Paul) Hull, Fred Mitchell (Sharon) Clair, and Mildred Sue (Charles) Phillips. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Tim Case officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-8:00 p.m.
