June Louise Kingery

June Louise Kingery, 85, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 1 a.m. at her home.

Mrs. Kingery was born December 10, 1931, in Fayette County, Ohio to Fred and Catherine Downer Tuvell.  She was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School and was a lifelong resident of this community.

She formerly worked 13 years as a secretary at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton and had been a teacher’s aide at the Orient State Institute.

Mrs. Kingery attended the Fayette Bible Church.  She enjoyed playing cards and being with her friends in her card club.  She had been a Cub Scout and Girl Scout troop leader and had assisted with the Washington Band Boosters and the Blue Lion Athletic Boosters.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters-in-law and sisters and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Tuvell, Walter and Agnes Tuvell, James Tuvell, Naomi and Fred Dawson, Mary Wilson and Jeanette and Lloyd Glaze.

Mrs. Kingery is survived by her husband, Jasper Merrill Kingery whom she married June 7,1952; two children, Debra Kingery and her husband, Dan Pachinger, of Williamsburg, OH and Stephen Kingery and his wife, Lisa, of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Barbara Tuvell of Sarasota, FL and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Madison Mills Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Garren, pastor at the Fayette Bible Church, officiating.  

Friends may call at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House Friday from 6-8 p.m.
