Lois A. Quigley, 80, of Wooster, Ohio (formerly of New Vienna, Ohio and St. Petersburg, FL) passed away 6:32 PM, Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Wayne County Care Center. Her husband, Ellsworth E. Quigley Jr., preceded her in death April 18, 2010. They were married April 2, 1957. Mrs. Quigley was born September 17, 1937 in Wayne County, Ohio, daughter of the late Leonard and Sarah Nussbaum Amstutz. She was a 1956 graduate of Orville High School.
Mrs. Quigley worked at the Hillsboro Bank & Savings for over 20 years. She was a member of the Orville Christian Church.
Mrs. Quigley is survived by two sons, Bill (Cristy) Quigley of San Antonio, Texas and Joseph Quigley Sr. of New Vienna, Ohio; a daughter, Diana Quigley of Wooster, Ohio; six brothers George (Margaret) Amstutz, Orden Amstutz, Enos (Judy) Amstutz, Sanford (Pat) Amstutz, Larry (Ruth) Amstutz, and Chet (Denise) Amstutz; a sister, Dot (Dave) Mowrer; a sister-in-law, MaryJane (Sam) Wenger; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers, Kenneth Amstutz and Sylvan Amstutz, a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia & Frank Gerber, and a sister-in-law, Janice Amstutz, are preceded in death.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
