Steven “Petey” Mickle, age 55, of Washington CH passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, at the Miami Valley Hospital following a brief illness. His death was sudden and unexpected.
Steve was born in WCH on June 11, 1962, to the late Lawrence and Lawanda Jordan Mickle. He had lived all of his life in the area and was a graduate of the Miami Trace High School. He will be remembered for his ornery and unconventional nature.
Along with his parents, Steve was preceded in death by a sister, Jodi Aebi; a brother-in-law, Daryl McKay; and Snowball, his special four-legged friend.
Surviving are his wife and partner in crime, Letty Mickle; their children, Patti (Britt) Bailey of IN, Kimmy Glispie ( Kenny Lower) of Bloomingburg and Paige (Keith) Rowe of WCH; grandchildren, Logan Bailey, Briar Glispie, Wyatt and MaKayla Graham, Trever Lower, and Aaliyah and Adrienne Jones, as well as 4 grand-dogs; sisters Debra McKay and Tina (Bill) Broyles; mother-in-law Pat Dwyer; bother-in-law James Aebi; sisters-in-law Barbie (Phil) Miller and Dina (Bill) Taylor; special friends Tim Hutchens and Ron Zimmerman, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and his loving friends.
